Why European cars need a different approach
German and British cars are not harder to fix. They are less forgiving of shortcuts. The oil has to carry the manufacturer's approval, a new battery has to be registered to the car, brake pads come with wear sensors and a service reset, and many repairs end with a calibration done through a scan tool.
We service and repair BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Land Rover and Jaguar, from oil services and brakes to engine, transmission, suspension and electrical work.
What brings European cars in
- A service message: Service A or B, Inspection, oil service due
- Drivetrain malfunction, EPC or check engine warnings
- Oil leaks from the top or front of the engine
- Coolant level warnings
- Air suspension sitting low on one corner
- Rough shifting from a DSG or automatic gearbox
How we work on European cars
- 01
Full system scan
Every module is read, not only the engine computer.
- 02
Test to the manufacturer's procedure
Guided fault finding with make-specific data and wiring.
- 03
Parts that fit the car
Parts and fluids that meet the manufacturer's specification.
- 04
Resets and adaptations
Service indicators, battery registration and calibrations completed before the car leaves.
Known patterns on these cars
- BMW: oil leaks at the valve cover and oil filter housing gaskets, and plastic cooling system parts that become brittle with age.
- Audi and Volkswagen: ignition coil failures, carbon build-up on the intake valves of direct-injection engines, and DSG gearbox services.
- Mercedes-Benz: air suspension leaks, and engine and transmission mounts that soften.
- Land Rover: air suspension faults and coolant leaks.
- Porsche and Jaguar: cooling system leaks and suspension bushing wear.

European car questions
Do I have to take my European car to the dealer?
No. An independent shop with the right diagnostic equipment and information can service and repair these cars. Keep your invoices, because a complete service history matters when you sell the car.
Do you use original parts?
Car makers do not manufacture most of their own parts. Companies such as Bosch, ZF, Lemforder, Mahle and Mann supply the factory, and the same parts are sold under their own names. Ask us which option we are quoting and why.
Why does a European oil change cost more?
These engines take more oil, it has to carry the manufacturer's approval, and the filter is usually a cartridge with its own seals. The interval is also longer.
My BMW or Audi needs a new battery. Is that a simple swap?
The swap is simple. The step that gets missed is registering the new battery with a scan tool, so the car charges it correctly.
